TREE PRUNING & REMOVAL
We specialize in tree pruning & removal regardless of commercial, residential or rural. Our talented team of arborists paired with our range of commercial wood chippers allows us to complete all tasks required.
CHIPPING
Our fleet also consists of large commercial woodchippers, this combined with our diverse range of excavators & trucks means clearing unwanted tress & vegetation is achieved effortlessly & efficiently.
SITE CLEARING
Grand Designs Landscaping specialize is site clearance. Weather its vegetation, disregarded building material or general waste our team can ensure a quick, effective, painless turnaround. In addition, an environmentally conscious approach is always taken when disposing of waste.
CONTOURING & LANDSCAPING
Contouring is a proven & effective method of removing/redirecting surface water with minimal cost & no additional infrastructure. LAWN TRANSFORMATION
This job involved removing a large amount of excess soil & one rather stubborn stump, before leveling some A-grade topsoil & seeding! Since completing the customer contacted us and commended our team for their efforts & quality finish. We utilized top quality seed & heavily applied ensuring a full & long last lawn
POOL READY
This job involved working closely with our customer & excavating the required area for a pool he was installing himself. The customer has since completed the install & is enjoying a summer of swimming
CONCRETE & STUMP REMOVAL
This job involved removing a large amount of concrete & multiple, stubborn stumps in preparation for our customer's new pool! Again our 1.7T excavator being idea due to limited access & site size. Our 4T tipper truck quickly removing all waste from site leaving the desired 'blank canvas'
LAWN READY
This job involved excavating a large area in preparation for a deck. In addition, the remaining lawn area scraped, removing all high spots & releveling. Again, our 1.7T being idea due to its compact footprint but powerful digging capabilities. All excess soil was removed from site VIA our 3T tipper due to height constrictions [access was via carport]
TIGHT SQUEEZE
This job involved scraping & clearing the existing lawn & soil, before refilling & leveling with quality, 'A-grade' topsoil in preparation for seeding. The area width was MINIMAL however our 1.7T excavator once again was nimble enough to maneuver around while still providing the much-needed digging power!
FINISHING TOUCHES
This job involved clearing & leveling areas prior to weed matting. Our 1.7-ton digger making quick work & its compact design meant we could reach every 'nook & cranny' We then supplied & filled all areas with 20mm river stone & finally some pavers & plants to complete.
NEW 'TIMBER WOLF' CHIPPER
This job involved clearing a section of tree that unfortunately fell during a recent storm. Caution was required as had ruptured the septic system. While on site we also removed two addition trees located near the main dwelling allowing some more natural light. Our new 8" commercial chipper proving incredibly useful, larger pieces were 'ringed' in preparation for firewood
RSE VILLAGE
This job involved excavating & trucking in topsoil from another onsite location. Once dumped amongst the new RSE dwellings, was carefully spread & leveled taking into consideration two drainage sumps. Once happy, all areas were seeded. Since completing a period of heavy rain came through, our customers reported the area drained incredibly well & exceeded their expectations!
HAWKES BAY HOMES
This job involved excavating two areas before preciously laying Macrocarpa sleepers in place. One creating an elevated lawn area which was filled with soil trucked in from another onsite location & finally finished with supplied A -grade topsoil. This ensured a perfectly level finish & the required nutrients to ensure a full & long-lasting lawn. Lastly, grass seed was carefully applied. The second area creating a raised garden bed & was carefully filled with onsite soil.
HOSPITAL HILL TRANSFORMATION
Our commercial chipper & arsenal of Stihl equipment making quick & clean work, taming multiple trees & clearing an overgrown section of garden. Once cleared our 1.7-ton digger removed all stumps & portion of soil before refilling with "Biorich' [top quality compost] Finally, this area was weed matted, all ready for planting.
TAIHAPE TRANSFORMATION
This job involved a range of work which included the construction of a new driveway & redevelopment of an abandoned pool area. While onsite we also erected a new section of fence, excavated & cleared a blocked drain, water blasted a large retaining wall & deck.
TUKITUKI VALLEY
This job involved clearing a LARGE overgrown site situated in the Tukituki Valley. What once would have been an incredible garden was unfortunately left unmaintained for many, many years. Therefore, it must come out, before heavily reducing the area & replanting in low maintenance varieties. Our 8" commercial chipper & 3.5T excavator worked together making quick progress clearing the thick sections of trees & shrubs.
